Walk-ins are welcome during the day — just come on in. Booking is essential for evening sessions, private events, and workshops. You can book online via our booking page or give us a call.

Absolutely! We welcome everyone from tiny babies (for handprint sessions) to grandparents. We have high chairs and child-friendly paints throughout.

How long does a session take?

On busy days, sittings are allocated to 2 hours.

When will my piece be ready to collect?

Your pottery will be ready to collect in approximately 2 weeks. We'll text you when it's been bagged up and is ready to collect.

How long will you keep my pottery for?

We will store your pottery for 2 weeks from the date that you receive the text.

Will I receive a refund if my piece does not survive the kiln?

We will issue a gift voucher for the value of the item so you can come back and paint it again.

What if I'm not artistic?

No artistic talent required — honestly! Many of our most loved pieces are created by people who 'can't draw'. We have stencils, stamps, and sponges to help, plus our staff are always happy to guide and inspire you.

Can I paint more than one piece?

Of course! You can paint as many pieces as you like during your session. Each piece is priced individually — studio time covers you for the whole visit.

Are the paints food safe?

Once kiln-fired, our ceramics are completely food safe. We use professional ceramic underglazes that are non-toxic in both wet and fired form.

Can you accommodate large groups?

Yes! We regularly host groups of up to 40+ people. For large groups, we recommend booking well in advance. We can also offer exclusive venue hire outside of normal opening hours.

Do you offer private hire?

Yes — art-ful has a dedicated private party room, completely separate from the main studio, accommodating up to 60 guests. It comes with its own fully licensed bar, UV dancefloor, and Sonos sound system, with flexible catering and creative activities available to add. Can we bring our own food and cake?

You're welcome to bring a birthday cake for parties! We provide plates and help with candles. For other food, we ask that you enjoy our café menu — it supports our team and the food is genuinely delicious.

Yes, we can provide invoices for corporate bookings. Just let us know when you enquire and we'll arrange this for you.

Where can I park?

There are several car parks within a 5-minute walk of art-ful, including Portland Road and Buckingham Road. Worthing train station is also just a 10-minute walk away.

Is art-ful accessible?

We aim to be as accessible as possible. Our studio is on the ground floor. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please call us before your visit and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you.

Can I get a refund if I can't make my booking?

We ask for 24 hours' notice for cancellations on standard bookings. For private events and evening sessions, we have a longer cancellation period — details are in our terms and conditions.
